The NYTimes Announces that Bob Dylan is a Sellout

I’m not really sure what to make of this.

Dylan has been playing concerts in a country whose government kills civilians, supports dictatorships, topples democracies, and imprisons and tortures people without a trial for, oh, about the last 45 years. It doesn’t ruin his credibility in my book.

Anyway, Ms Dowd, you write for the New York Times. Who gave you the right to decide who’s selling out? Isn’t that reserved for those of us who create our art for (nearly) free?

I’d like to know how much you earned for writing this useless article:

The NYTimes Announces that Bob Dylan is a Sellout

How did I end up in Spain? Why am I still here almost 20 years later? Excellent questions. With no good answer... Anyway, at some point I became a blogger, bestselling author and contributor to Lonely Planet. So there's that. Drop me a line, I'm happy to hear from you.
